Bombolulu Workshops & Cultural Centre are located in Mombasa, Kenya, providing opportunities for over 100 people with physical disabilities. Accomodation is available for artisans who are paid a regular income, and have full use of a medical clinic, nursery school, social hall and sports centre.
Bombolulu is a not for profit organization which started over 40 years ago, it is a member of the WFTO (World Fair Trade Organisation), and has four workshops that produce a range of jewellery, textile, wood and leather products.
Artisans at Bombolulu make every detail of the jewellery by hand – even the links of each chain are made by hand.
